So this last year hmmm...
I survived being a junior. Though apparently that didn't give me an edge over the sophmore ho-bags who got all my parts in "Night of Broadway". I'm trying very hard to let that go, but the chorus directors are FRUSTRATING! My voice teacher keeps telling me to forget them because I am SO better than them, but maybe that's just because I pay her.
In other news, I dated this guy named Ethan. But he was kinda boring and we didn't really have anything in common, so it didn't last very long.
My parents are going all crazy about college. I have to start making a list or something. They want me to go to Reed because it's where they went and its very liberal and granola. But I think I need to branch out a little bit. Spread my wings, etc.
So I dunno. I guess I should survive this year first. Or summer assignments. Ick. I hate The Scarlet Letter.

WOWO
Look what I found.
I seriously forgot about this thing. Now I remember meaning to write in it and stuff, but then I guess I got caught up in summer assignments and then school and blah blah.
It's going to be impossible to summarize a whole year, so I'm going to have to think about the important details.

Happy IndepenDANCE Day.
We went to Uncle Ron's house for a good ole family barbeque today. They have a really big lawn, so we played on a SLIP N SLIDE! Remember that? It's so fun...especially with a bunch of grown adults, a teenager, and 2 kids under 10.
Rock on! We had fried chicken, potatoe salad, apple pie, corn on the cob. We are sooo All-American.
Then we went to watch fireworks. I looked all over but I couldn't find my beloved Molly.
I should really do something tomorrow...like start reading my summer assignments maybe?

YIKES!
I'm definitely not dead. Please don't worry. I've just been on the FAMILY VACATION TO TRUMP ALL FAMILY VACATIONS.
We were so wholesome and regular family like. I even pulled out the "Mom" and "Dad" a few times. It was too weird, so I reverted back to Ronnie and Alex.
So anyway, we stayed at the beach on Puget Sound up in Washington. I LOVE IT THERE SO MUCH! We hadn't been since I was younger though. We went hiking and rafting and swimming and all that good stuff. Alex tried surfing, but he's not as good as he used to be. Plus the waves weren't that great.
One night we went to this old family-run seafood restaurant and this canadian fisherman asked my mom for her number. Alex and I always find this so amusing (it happens all the time) and she gets all indignant and embarassed and "I've been happily married for 15 years surprising I know!"
Hah.
I love summer

The Goo Goo Dolls-- Give a Little Bit |

Well now that my brains are sufficiently fried, I think I'm ready for finals. And I'm definitely ready for summer.
I couldn't sleep last night, so I got up and started cleaning, which I do from time to time. It's very soothing. Except I woke up Ronnie when I ran the water to mop the kitchen. She does not understand my need for a clean living space, so she took me to Walmart. I hate that place, but it's incredibly fascinating at 3 o'clock in the morning. We bought socks.
Molly, I went to that Starbucks, but the guy wasn't there. How sad.

Ronnie and Alex are driving me crazy.
They are in one of their touchy-feely phases. Ick. Parents should not make out in front of their children. It is just not right.
Less than a week left of school. Sweetness.
Guess what. It rained today.
